The Impostor Phenomenon represents the perception of individuals who feel like fraudulent professionals, believing that they deceive people around them daily, as they consider themselves incompetent to perform their activities in that context. This study is an systematic literature review that aims to synthesize the main results of recent productions regarding the Impostor Phenomenon. The search was conducted on the CAPES Periodicals Portal, and the descriptors were: 'Impostor Phenomenon' OR 'Impostor Phenomenon' AND 'career' AND 'gender.' The inclusion criteria were (i) open access; (ii)peer-reviewed; (iii) published between 2018 and 2021; (iv) no language restrictions. Books, theses, dissertations, review articles, and editorial notes were excluded from the research. At the end of the refinement process, 11 articles remained, which were fully analyzed, with 7 in English and 4 in Portuguese. The main findings reveal that experiences with impostorfeelings pose threats to the health, well-being, and career of working women.
