La contribución de la gestión del conocimiento al desarrollo de las industrias

La gestión del conocimiento (KM) es un tema que ha ido ganando terreno en las organizaciones, dada su relación con la mejora de los procesos de la organización, ya que trata de la forma en que la organización puede gestionar el conocimiento de las personas para optimizar sus actividades. Esta revisión bibliográfica buscó verificar estudios desarrollados en industrias de diferentes segmentos y países, que abordaron el tema de KM de manera aplicada en la organización. También buscó identificar la contribución de la KM a las industrias a través de estos estudios, y si alguna empresa utilizó herramientas de evaluación de KM para identificar su nivel de madurez. Se encontró que el tema fue abordado por diferentes segmentos, donde la mayor concentración de estudios ocurrió en Europa y Asia. Entre los objetivos propuestos en los artículos, se puede destacar la búsqueda de mejorar algún proceso interno de la organización, o de comprender las cuestiones de comportamiento de los empleados, que influyeron en las actividades de la industria. De esta manera, se pudo observar que los estudios contribuyeron a una mayor comprensión y desarrollo de la GC en las organizaciones, sin embargo, no se utilizaron modelos para evaluar los niveles de KM, sino instrumentos de recolección que pudieran responder a una pregunta específica sobre el conocimiento en las organizaciones.
