Abstract

The soybean crop demands a large amount of fertilizers for the production of the grain, which is its main product, and therefore the use of mineral fertilizers in excess can harm the environment. A viable alternative that has been extensively researched and used to avoid this situation is inoculation, a practice that has been adopted with great success by farmers. From this, the practice of reinoculation has been studied, which consists of applying the inoculant to the soil after plant emergence, in association with standard seed inoculation. The present work aims to evaluate the effect of reinoculation Bradyrhizobium japonicum at different phenological stages for better crop development, as well as nodulation. In view of this, an experiment was carried out in completely randomized blocks to evaluate the effect of reinoculation in the VC stages; V2 and V4 of the soybean crop. The nodulation values observed with T2 (reinoculation in VC) were higher than the other evaluated treatments. For the fresh aerial part, the standard inoculation treatment presented 13.34 g, while the other treatments where the plants were reinoculated presented mass between 15.97g and 16.57g, demonstrating the positive effect of reinoculation. Therefore, it is concluded that the reinoculation brings beneficial effects for the culture and also financial for the producer.
