Abstract

This article aims to demonstrate the relationship between the environment and human health. There are different areas of activity for professionals working with environmental science, such as: disaster assessment, risks in climate potentials and factors that disturb mental health. It highlights the importance of a single health system that unites animal, human and environmental health to achieve completeness of the various aspects of the human being. It follows a literary research study methodology, with a qualitative, descriptive focus, working on the construction of the pertinent conditions for this research. The searches were carried out on websites specialized in scientific articles. The scope of the research was the relationship between human beings and the environment, with a focus on health. It was found that, despite being complex, education of society about the emerging needs of the environment and other interventions must be carried out by raising awareness and educating the population. Concomitantly, public policies must be inserted with a focus and analysis of the environment and health.
