Abstract

The tomato crop demands high doses of fertilizers for its production, so the use of minerals on a large scale can have impacts on the environment. The use of microorganisms can be an alternative to reduce the amount of fertilizers used. The present work aimed to evaluate different inoculants and their effects on the crop. From this, an experiment was set up in a completely randomized design to evaluate the effect of different growth-promoting bacteria. Six treatments were set up, T1: 100% NPK, T2: 0% top dressing, T3: 0% top dressing + Azospirillum brasilense, T3: 0% top dressing + Pseudomonas fluorescens, T5: 0% top dressing + Bacillus licheniformis, T6: 0% top dressing + Bacillus aryabhattai + Bacillus haynesii + Bacillus circulans. The values obtained for treatments T3 and T6 were higher than the other treatments studied. Having significant averages in 4 different variables, number of leaflets with an average of 50 leaflets, number of leaves with an average of 14 leaves, height in two different periods with averages of 19.07cm and 84.57cm and number of fruits with an average of 2 fruits. Demonstrating a significant effect of the use of Azospirillum brasilense, Bacillus aryabhattai, Bacillus haynesii, Bacillus circulans.
