Intersections between ISO 37120 and the UN Sustainable Development Goals: a systematic review

Several indicators are proposed to evaluate sustainable urban development, among them the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 37120 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations (UN). In this systematic review, the search for articles was performed in the FGV Library and CAPES Periodicals Portal databases, using the words "ISO 37120" and "SDG". Following the inclusion and exclusion criteria, eight (08) articles were selected to compose this work. Only one study establishes direct intersections between ISO 37120 and ODS, while the others performed superficial crossovers. Several indicators were used in the articles and the study of effective models is a topic in constant evolution and testing. The existing indicators can be associated with others for the elaboration of new meters that assist in the analysis of urban environmental dimensions, where the purpose is to prepare cities for sustainable development.
